Printed form completed in manuscript: a writ to attach certain goods of the estate of John Bull made by Mary Sweet. The writ is signed by several parties including Dudley who represented the Bull estate in the action and the sheriff of Suffolk Co., John Winchcombe.

Paul Dudley was appointed attorney general of Massachusetts (1702); associate justice of the Massachusetts Supreme Court (1718) and chief justice of the court (1745).
